Club 1056, A charity organization bound to help raise money to fight and cure cancer. Our organization uses fun events in line with our social activites to raise money and have a fun time doing so. The group then participates in the annual Relay for Life event in Arlington County.

Wine Tasting
The plan is to have 2 wine tasting events again this year with a slight twist. The "Reserve" Tasting and "General" Tasting will take place on different dates. I have secured use of David Magee's new residence high atop Rossyln for the Reserve Tasting on Saturday March 28. The General Tasting is tentatively slated for Saturday April 18. Hopefully we can receive more favorable treatment from the weaher gods having them a little later this year. Also (CAVEAT: this is an unsubstantiated rumor) our former host, Mr Wakefield may be in town that weekend in April. Similar logistics as prior years ... Reserve Tasting = $50 donation and submission of "reserve" quality wine for tasting. General Tasting = $20 donation and submission of something made from grapes for tasting.
